Forests do not reveal their secrets to just anyone: they guard them in silence, beneath a canopy of branches and a blanket of autumn leaves. Because those who love the gifts of the earth cannot simply gather and select them, they must know how to protect their identity, preserve their soul and tell their story. That is exactly what Appennino Food Group does to perfection. A craft born from passion that has grown over time, striking the perfect balance between artisanal care and cutting-edge technology.

Their story
At the heart of the Appennino Food Group world lies a treasure born underground, and like all treasures, finding it takes patience and knowledge. Truffles are the undisputed protagonists of a rich collection of gastronomic specialties whose origins take us on a journey across Italy, just like the Apennine Mountains themselves. These delicacies can reach your table wherever you are, bringing with them not only exceptional flavor and quality, but also a story you will never forget.

The story of Appennino Food Group
The story of Appennino Food Group began like a fairy tale, but over time, it grew into a thriving company. It all started with a young Luigi, who chose to give up the car his father wanted to buy him and asked instead for a truffle dog. With this faithful and trusted companion by his side, Luigi Dattilo, a passionate and determined self-taught truffle hunter, found his first precious white truffle in Valsamoggia. In that very same valley, the company he founded would flourish into a leading production facility, combining high-quality ingredients with cutting-edge technology.
Despite its success, the company never left its original home. After all, its connection to the land is one of Appennino Food Group's fundamental values, together with respect for the raw material— which is carefully processed without compromising its natural characteristics, flavor or aroma—and the importance of sharing good food.

Appennino Food Group & Emilia Food Love
Some encounters feel written in the stars. The collaboration between Emilia Food Love and Appennino Food Group is far more than a simple business partnership, it is an elective affinity between two worlds rooted in the very same values.
For us, culinary excellence is never merely a collection of products: it is a living narrative woven from history and people, heritage and innovation. It speaks of the past, the present, and a shared future we want to build together with you, creating an authentic bridge between the fresh magic of the woods and the warm heart of your home.
